Rox-THON is a club and overnight fundraising event at Roxbury High School to fight pediatric cancer. Proceeds go to Goryeb Children’s Hospital (Morristown, NJ), with 30% supporting pediatric cancer research through Four Diamonds (Penn State Children’s Hospital). This annual event features over 500 Roxbury students taking a “stand” against cancer in a no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon.
Rox-THON is also a club, where four committees come together to plan and organize the event during the year leading up. This includes Hospitality (food and prizes), Entertainment (games and acts), Operations (logistics), and Morale (line dance and decorations).
